As the Institute’s first convening in South Korea, the event will gather prominent business leaders and global investors to examine the country’s economic outlook and investment opportunities
SEOUL, South Korea, March 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The Milken Institute announced today its inaugural Global Dinner Dialogues in South Korea on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul. Titled “South Korea at the Crossroads,” the Global Dinner Dialogues is a special evening event that will bring together senior executives and regional leaders to examine the nation’s economic outlook, investment landscape, and emerging opportunities for partnership between global and Korean investors and business leaders.
The highly curated program for the evening will focus on South Korea’s pivotal role within the global markets and opportunities that emerge as the country solidifies its influence in various sectors such as innovation and soft power. The public program will be posted to the Milken Institute’s website and will be available for streaming.

The Dinner Dialogue will kick off with opening remarks by Byoung Hwan Kim, Chairman of Korea’s Financial Services Commission, followed by two high-level discussions on investors’ views on Korea and the world and Korea’s evolving business and investment landscape. Featured speakers at the special evening event include: Hoon Lee, Chief Investment Officer, Korea Investment Corporation, John B. Quinn, Executive Chairman and Founding Partner, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart and Sullivan LLP, Samuel Kim, Chairman & Group CEO, Retail HQ for Lotte Retail Group, and Jongku Choi, Korea’s Ambassador for International Finance Cooperation & Former Chairman, Korea’s Financial Services Commission.
